Madelyn Cline, Joshua Bassett, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan & More Front American Eagle’s “Members Always” Campaign — See Photos

American Eagle has officially launched its new Spring 2022 campaign and it’s just as star-studded as it is inspiring. The clothing brand’s latest campaign, called “Members Only,” is headlined by a diverse lineup of young stars, from actors and athletes to gamers and musicians.

The roster for American Eagle’s latest campaign includes Madelyn ClineMaitreyi RamakrishnanJoshua BassettMichael Evans BehlingCoco Gauff, and Maia (also known by her stage name, mxmtoon). As a company that always seeks to empower and support youth, American Eagle shared in a press email that the mission behind the campaign is to “harness the power of community, acceptance, and unity.”

A campaign video shot on location in Los Angeles gives life to the fresh and invigorating vibes of the group, with the brand’s newest ambassadors shown celebrating their individuality while also championing the type of space where acceptance reigns. “Everyone belongs everywhere they want to belong,” declares 17-year-old tennis champion Coco Gauff. “It’s definitely a place where empathy is the leading feeling,” says singer-songwriter mxmtoon.  

The star of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, shares a message of connecting across differences in the campaign video. “I think it’s important to connect with people who aren’t like you, because there’s so much more than just your experience,” says the former Teen Vogue cover star

Coco, Joshua, Madelyn, Maitreyi, Michael, and mxmtoon share a unique point of view on today’s world that empowers others to believe in the limitless possibilities of tomorrow,” Jennifer Foyle, President and Executive Creative Director of AE & Aerie, said in a press release. “Our Spring collection is a fresh approach to nostalgic-inspired trends. Flares are back, so are wider and looser fits, and of course, the best of the ’90s. The assortment  inspires customers to show up to be themselves.”
